I read, write, and think. Not really good for much else.
Bitcoin, stablecoins, and memecoins aren’t the same.

Memecoins are rife with fraud and need oversight.

But the market should also allow short-sellers, who have proven to be effective whistleblowers in traditional markets.

I love ‘The Good Place’! And while I don’t want to be that guy, I have always been a bit perplexed that in the over 800 reboots, Michael has never been able to convince Eleanor that she is in the ‘Good Place’.

It’s all about momentum, doing a little ,every day, builds up; just keep showing and making whatever progress you can, it builds up

I recently explored how Markov Chains and existentialism intersect, comparing personal identity to these chains. Our past shapes us, but it shouldn't define our future. Present actions are key to shaping who we become.

Canada being the 51st state is crazy rethoric

But what happens if Canada joins the EU economic zone to help protect itself from over dependence on America?

Either that, or form a commonwealth trade agreement (which I think already exists to some extent - but maybe expand on it?)

People consistently reiterate that billionaires have the wealth to erase American medical debt, end American poverty, and provide global access to water and sanitation, but they choose not to

OF COURSE THEY CHOOSE NOT TO! If they were truly altrusitic, they’d would like Ewan Roy, not like Logan Roy

I really appreicate gay people. It’s not because of their identity or whatever, and they arent special because they are sexually liberated

rather, its the lgbtq community's values of inclusivity and kindness which stand out against the backdrop of hatred in the world. Dostoyevsky would approve.

I think my consciousness was trying to say that a zombie is not dangerous, it is only when that zombie spreads does it become something monstrous and uncontainble.

The same thing can be said about ideology, once spread, it becomes difficult to control — and ideology is hard to kill once it spreads

I had a dream last night about a zombie.

When I woke up I wrote this:

"Why ideology is like a zombie apocalypse."

Sometimes, the idea in your head is not the same idea you have on the paper.

You’d have to be someone really cool to consistently communicate your ideas succinctly.

@stuartmills.bsky.social and @unlearnecon.bsky.social had a fantastic conversation about AI - which I highly recommend. One standout point was:

"If AI is a radical transformative technology, we should expect to see it radically transform organizations."

“The War to End All Wars” did not end conflict and violence.

“The Death of Communism” did not kill Marxist ideology.

“Mission Accomplished” did not mean the Americans left the Middle East.

Our media plays crucial moments as a finality of the narrative, but the narrative continues regardless.

The more I work with ChatGPT on my writing, the less I want to depend on its writing/rewriting ability.

I look at ChatGPT as the perfect response or version, but my writing should be a reflection of me.

We must be true to ourselves.

My biggest concern with efficient progress is that violence is highly efficient.

Moreover, it changes the dynamics between individuals and nations, leading to less clarity about their future actions.

"Commerce makes people tolerant" - Tyler Cowen

The economic incentive is to sell to as many people as possible — discrimination and exclusion are barriers to greater profit.

What happens if equality is framed as a tool for western imperialism?
