it REEKS of "abstinence is the only effective birth control" (BOO👎x100 + the world doesn't work that way) like this shit can happen to anyone. that's why abortion is basic reproductive healthcare. sometimes nothing happens without birth control & sometimes it happens even with many such precautions.

& in the case of the fiction it's extremely realistic that he wouldn't realize that T isn't enough birth control, bc that's a misconception that people are still clearing up today
