Unfortunately, my dog Fifa passed away this past Sunday night. He would’ve turned 17 on the 25th, so he lived a long and good life, but it still hurts that he’s gone

I think I didn’t like double cooler with rapid because it felt like you still had to anchor too much so you couldn’t abuse how oppressive the weap is when it has cooler, but playing it as a midline with pen/edit on certain maps feels insanely strong. I’d probably run mint+dualie as the other two

A lot of people disagreed with grey saying to remove +2 and +3 but I honestly agree. Those servers are usually dead anyways and they just end up creating huge egos that do more harm than good

As a general observation beyond just today I think JP has better lockouts than the west largely from how aggro and stubborn they get with positioning for them. Every 10 seconds you watch a JP top player make an individual play that here we'd call feeding yet it works, or at least isn't punished🧵

People complain about shooters getting buffed all the time but I think it’s only a problem when the special balance is a problem. If the specials in the game have a healthy balance then the main weapons of shooters being stronger just makes them feel way better to play with

Main weapon wise, I don’t think any support comes close to mini but I don’t think mini should be nerfed. This game would get so much better if there was a giant patch of buffs (to weapons that are already “good” as well

For the sake of consistency, I think the best way for me to have comp success moving forward is to just become a blaster player and play mostly rapid and then play s-blast when I’m playing with a pen. I don’t have the time to practice like I used to and playing squeeze and sword is too hard

The past year or so of my comp career has been so sad. I made +3 and then immediately squeezer got nerfed. Then I picked up s-blast but I got dodged because people thought it was bad. Then I took a break from the game and everyone realized it's broken. Then I come back and they nerf s-blast

When trying to get better at splatoon I like to draw a lot of parallels from other competitive games I’ve played, and playing OW (specifically tracer) during my break from the game helped me understand stamper a lot better. My mechs aren’t as good yet but the weapon makes a lot more sense now
