So I made my own version of basically Unity's PlayClipAtPoint for Godot2D and its awesome! Got it tied to an audio bus and it destroys on clip length!

Gonna make a GDScript version too and put them up on Itch for others to use.

Well after literal days of trying configurations and troubleshooting Im back on Windows boys. I just couldnt get it to perform without the ASUS drivers.

I tried system 76 nvidia drivers and it made a difference but was still busted. Bluetooth and Lan also had issues I couldnt seem to solve. RIP

Man Im excited for my big swap today! Diving head first into Pop OS!

Im glad Ive been VMing because its something to get used to, trying to make a damn desktop shortcut almost made me pull my hair out!

That being said I think Ive got the .desktop flow down! Ready to go today!

In preparation for swapping to Pop OS tomorrow on my new mobo I snagged my Windows activation key for external storage and made sure I can boot it up in a VM. Needless to say its working!

Now Im running Windows while VMing Windows. OS INCEPTION 😂 #linux #windows

My damage numbers work! This one was pretty easy tbh. I just tripped myself up animating the node2d rather than the control node. More info on setup in the comments!

Its not perfect but first pic is all the garbage timer work i was doing the rest are how simple the new signal setup is.

This is working so much better and of course lets me adjust the animation freely and use different timings!

Conquered!! 🥳
