Well yes so they all think it’s a contrivance but once we get into the statistics it’s probably not weird there would be a connection. And if they knew each other years ago and now live miles from each other there’s nothing to suggest this past connection to the producers

And why wouldn’t people of a roughly similar age, who are gregarious enough to want to go on a tv show, and each of whom know hundreds of people, have bumped into each other at some stage, it seems weird but isn’t?

I am sure the statistical probability of two contestants having a past acquaintance with one another isn’t actually that small yet none of them will believe it’s accidental
