I wasn’t expecting that score in the cricket when I woke up - England were 45/4 when I went to sleep. Great work by Brook and Pope and nice to see the wickets shared around so far amongst the bowlers. Hopefully they can press home the advantage tomorrow. #NZvEng

Looks like it’s going to be a good win for Bangladesh to level the series against the West Indies in Jamaica. Crazy that there isn’t a third Test to decide it. It’s also so sad to see empty stadiums in the Caribbean for Test cricket. I know it’s been like that for a while but still….

Today is the 30th anniversary of the release of the first PlayStation. So many amazing games over the years. I still have such fond memories of playing things like GTA, Resident Evil, Crash Bandicoot etc. In more recent times on the PS5, Red Dead Redemption 2 is still pure escapism. Cheers Sony 🍺

We’ve enjoyed a three day break in Bruges this week. Beautiful city and great beer.

I saw this Heron sat high in a tree while on a walk. I’m really pleased with how sharp the photo is. It’s easy to take them for granted but they are such beautiful birds

I took this photo a few years ago. We stayed in a holiday cottage near Fort William and several guests had mentioned in the visitor book that a Pine Marten would come out at dusk if you left a little food out. Sure enough, it soon turned up. #ukwildlife #pinemarten

Hoping Bluesky will be somewhere where people can have decent, respectful conversations, unlike what the hell site has become. Things seem to be going well so far. Here’s a couple of photos from the finest county in England.
