On this day in 2011, @cornelluniversity.bsky.social — partnering with the Technion — won NYC’s bid to build a new tech campus on Roosevelt Island, launched by Mayor Mike Bloomberg. That vision became Cornell Tech, which opened its campus in 2017 and continues to drive innovation in NYC and beyond.
