New blog post! Calculating a correlation is easy enough. But let's say you calculated two of them and they happen to differ. What follows from that? Turns out there are too many moving parts for an easy answer.

I've been caffeinating less at work lately. Feeling much less anxious but my lack of focus could become a real problem. Finding the balance between my anxiety and ADHD is a hell of a battle.

I've been in Tableau land for the last 6 months. Today I dipped my toe back into Looker Studio and god I miss it. I get that the sky is the limit with Tableau but I don't want to build the sky. I want tables, bar charts, and line charts. My stakeholders want an easy export to excel.

I've been data posting less lately because I'm like 4/10 good at my job currently. I think the job is just harder and I have to dedicate myself to it more. Probably need to medicate my ADHD again.

If you want to be a good data manager, you have to get really comfortable with asking a lot of questions. When something is unclear or doesn't seem right, you can't settle or make assumptions. That's how you end up with bad data. Stay curious.
