My favorite book about the Bible, which has a longer title, but is usually known as the X-Rated Bible, is a book written by a gay man who grew up in a strict Christian family & in his opinion, the Bible is filled with stories kids shouldn't be reading as kids. Its really interesting book.

@jasonloo.bsky.social I really don't pay attention to comic news, so I learned about the new Iron Fist a few weeks ago, right after I reread everything I own. I was thrilled to hear we'd get a new series, & I loved the 1st issue, pls tell the whole team how much I loved it.

I'm 52, can draw anything I can see, loved drawing as a kid, but can't draw from imagination. Pple told me to just keep practicing, clearly I had talent. Eventually, I tried writing instead, & loved it. I only just recently learned about this, & I'm a 4. Wish I'd known before.

2/2 - Except when my comic shop tries to sneak your latest Matvel Deadpool series, with the same characters, same plots, still needing someone else to write the dialogue for you, & unlike the majority of other artists I've seen over my 50 yrs of life, you have never gotten any better.

1/2 -Saw an article about you ranting at how bad Marvel mutant titles are, that they have nothing new to offer, & that your DM's are filled with support. I meant to respond, but you've apparently blocked me on FB & X, which seems pretty fragile since I rarely even think about you...

I sometimes wish we had an ethical form of AI that would let us access new creations from our fav creators, even tho I don't think that's really possible. The 1st time was when I was watching the Shannon Hoon (Blind Melon) doc, wondering what he would be writing if he had lived - like me.

My county, in Upstate NY, is struggling to give care to our communities, to the point that my therapist reduced my sessions from two, one hour sessions a month, to two, 30 min sessions, cuz she now has SEVENTY clients.

I got it for my granddaughter! She's in between 7 & 8, & is (finally - lol) getting into comics. She really liked it, & she loves the Teen Titans YA series.

Haha, I'm working on my Memoir right now, & that is a very accurate way to describe life. Even as a young man in the 90's, I was already thinking about the way every "silver lining" is followed by struggle, & that cycle.

My cat, who is about 17, is still pretty suspicious about any treat I give her. lol I have no idea why, but she approaches very carefully. As a fan of Gail Simone's Secret 6, I'm excited to check out your new series!

I just "discovered" you on Brian Tyler Cohen's video, & I'm not sure if there is a better hero origin than a woman who consumed conservative nonsense until she couldn't avoid jumping into the political ring. My family will support you.

@timsheridan.bsky.social I was adopted at birth in '74, & raised by a gay man, who was an activist for most of his life. He wasn't a fan of comics sadly, & he passed 3 yrs ago from Alzheimer's, but pls thank the team for us both, for creating such a great story about Alan Scott. I loved it.
