Sure would be nice to hear Reds specific perspective instead of other teams feeds.

Thanks for the response. I've read the story twice now and don't see that answered. Perhaps I lack reader comprehension. Nevertheless I appreciate that you responded.

If I understand correctly, you can't watch reds.tv through espn unlimited though. Is that accurate (i.e., I'd still need to use the standalone mlb.tv to watch in market reds.tv games)?

how they probably see themselves though

I really like Chris Collingsworth and I really like and will miss Buck Martinez and I'm wondering if I like them because they are great analysts or because they sound similar?
February 9, 2026 at 12:32 AM
Anybody else super excited by Joey Votto as an analyst? He did great in the Reds booth when he was injured and his dry wit I hope plays with audiences. I'm also mildly concerned he could slip up and say something unintentionally offensive.

lawsuits is what happened due to some false advertising. premise is the same. I've got a running drinking of water game going between sports betting and AI. Started strong on the sports betting but AI has come back strong
February 9, 2026 at 12:13 AM
drinks of water that is
February 8, 2026 at 11:53 PM
So far I'm taking more drinks for sports betting commercials than AI but I expect a tight race in this SB

You still have to ask yourself whether you are comfortable posting on that platform. It’s like going to a restaurant owned by the mafia just because you like the way the food tastes

The Muppet Show was surprisingly delightful. They didn't try too hard. They didn't over-celebrate the celebrity while keeping true to original tone. A little too much Miss Piggy for me, but I get it as I think that's also kinda the point.

it also explains Bill Maher, once a liberal darling, and why he no longer is. it also explains why he thinks progressives are too liberal because he is stuck in 'old liberalism'
January 26, 2026 at 9:24 PM
my brother told me, and it resonated, that people age out of liberalism into conservatism because their beliefs, liberal when young, didn't progress as time passed. That's a generality on why 50+ year olds tend to be more conservative but you do have to and should intentionally progress is my point.

I actually just told cptowers that Jordan Walker was my choice for this year's Geraldo Perdomo based on the criteria he laid out in his article. Not going to draft him but I could see one hot week and an expected starting position and he will find his way onto rosters in a 12-team very quickly.

1974 animated Christmas classic Twas The Night Before Christmas, believe it or not, had a quote that has always stuck with me and I try to live by: "It's not enough to be sorry. When you've done something wrong, you have to correct the thing you did."

Great list. I did my own using your criteria. Here's my list (Rogers match was difficult):

Springer -> Bogaerts
Woo/Sanchez -> Rasmussen
Buxton -> Seager
Pagan -> Yates
Duran -> Raleigh (too obvious?)
Butler -> Roman Anthony
Nola -> Luis Castillo
Perdomo -> Jordan Walker
Rogers -> Payton Tolle

Just go with the 70 grade hit tool and hope that wins out. I'd comp him to Dustin Pedroia.

My favorite article of the year (no offense to you). Bookmark material. Scott writes this very well and I love the fantasy slant, which is what makes this more valuable to a fantasy player than other prospect rankings.

Please pass along thanks to Scott. I would do it myself if he were on here 😏

Nice job Mike!

I like your Lodolo and Bubic picks and I'm glad the pod is coming around that even though the Reds have GABP, their pitchers manage to navigate it quite well. The org/DJ are doing a great job.

Not fond of the Burleson addition mainly because I think the Cardinals lineup is going to slide back.

Nice, well written, researched article. I agree with most of what you wrote and its hard to argue against your points on Strider but its just so hard to believe that with more time for proper healing and offseason to retool, that he actually may be a sleeper. Hopefully not the next Tim Lincecum.

This is not the flex you think it is. Congrats to Richards though

Cincy could use him back on the cheap
