One thing has been very clear these last several weeks. The @democrats.org have been disastrously weak. How can a Republican President do these things with such a quiet weak vocal response? I get it, maybe letting Trump simply destroy himself is a tactic, but it’s a shameful one.

If you wanted to cut waste, fraud, and abuse, you would empower the inspectors general.

If you wanted more waste, fraud, and abuse, you would fire them.

Hey remember when George Lucas was like β€œhurr durr Trade Wars” and we were like that’s so silly and he was like no wait that’s how Emperor Palpatine comes to power and we were like you are obviously dumb Jorge.

What Elon is doing to the government and the country and everyone’s reaction to it this weekend reminds me of the xenomorph and the crew of the Nostromo as they slowly catch on to what’s happening on their ship.

Isn’t the Electoral College a form of DEI?

Perfect sentiment Mark. It’s hard enough for anyone to admit they were wrong. Mocking and belittling won’t make it easier and our primary goal is to shift them toward voting against all MAGA in 2026.

Democrats have failed on their messaging to elicit emotion. This has been the core driver for MAGA, pretty much all of it due to lack of their intellectual effort. If Democrats don’t find a way to play the emotion card alongside the facts, the facts will be silent. Time to level up or lose it all.

It’s the best execution of the heart of the early installments that made the franchise what it is today. I love BOTW and TOTK but EOW captured the original fun best.

Finished season 2 of Lioness recently. What stands out most about this series is it really β€œtakes a chance” by focusing more on character and human experience vs spectacle in a genre that has been almost exclusively spectacle first, character second.

Without our windmills and solar, Texas would’ve had 3 more freezes like 2021 with long grid outages. Would love to see how Gov Abbott responds to his support of this.

It’s funny how Trump and MAGA push to remove DEI on the basis of jobs going to the β€œbest qualified” candidate BUT AT THE SAME TIME push Pete Hegseth to run the DOD.

Every data topic should have the ability to be shared on socials as its own link independent from the whole. Have the ability to export a gif of "trends or change over time" from a selected range.

The goal is visually digestible with extreme ease of sharing the data.

Call it SOTU.

Graphs should have markers when relevant legislation is passed, then show the trend associated to it as time passes. Also a section on laws passed, color coded by who introduced it (R, D, or I) with a display of every Rep who voted yes and no.

I am not a web developer or data specialist, simply a creative. But, as we enter this period of rampant misinformation and see clearly how easy it is for bad actors to gaslight the nation, a decentralized "receipts" page could do wonders. @mcuban.bsky.social I'm sure you have the means!

We need a web based dashboard that updates stats on; jobs, inflation, interest rates, oil & gas, etc in a very visually digestible format utilizing verifiable data from multiple resources. This dashboard should also be trend based and have a "community notes" like system to frame topics.

Look, I’m not big on celebrities in politics, but we’re in an interesting moment in US politics and I feel like it’s going to take someone with an already large degree of positive public notoriety to move us away from Trump. Someone who seems centrist and likable.
