i'm actually quite awed at my community's commitment to boycott.
strawberries went on sale at the start of May and when I went back yesterday they were STILL on sale, largely untouched, because they're from the USA.
we also killed the neighborhood starbucks a while back. it's a local cafe now.

This started because someone saw my name on a post about apples and peanut butter. The event this person was talking about happened maybe a year in advance to this message, it was in the past and frankly forgotten about.

I know I talk about cheetahs and smilodons a lot but technically my favorite animal is spotted hyenas, they're so goofy for apex predators and they are more socially intelligent in certain test than chimpanzees. They have such a bed reputation but they're really neat
