Watched Ibelin yesterday. After that, I've been constantly thinking about the internal conflict between wanting to hide something big about yourself to avoid bias and wanting to be seen as yourself because you're a human, and humans are pack animals.

I was only trying to find a source for some additional thoughts for an article draft, yet here I am, connecting about a million dots, restructuring the way I see the industry, the field, and the economy.
I know I'm vague. It's hard to be precise when my thoughts are a huge, intricate web of concepts

if you were under the impression that unity walking back the per-installation fees thingy was enough to make it still a viable engine choice, consider again
So Unity recently decided that the tiny startup I dayjob for needed to upgrade to Industry at 5k/year/seat. We had no chance to contest it because they would have killed our only product. They even threatened people we worked with in the past with the same.
