I’ve said it before but reading all the medieval history books I’ve been reading lately has been so comforting. Makes you realize that there have always been mad and incompetent kings and they almost always die in ignominy and everyone piles shit on them for centuries after they’re gone.

Went to my little Ohio town’s protest today in the rain with my partner, my queer son, and my disabled daughter. It was so heartening! People of all ages holding homemade signs. So many cars honking in support. Lots of pickups too.

I have found that Costco truly saves me a lot of money. Every time I go I end up with a bunch of stuff in my cart that I’m sure I can’t live with out. Then I wander around long enough questioning each item and putting them back until I just abandon my cart.

I have a trans son, a lesbian daughter, and a daughter with a developmental disability. I will fight for my kids for the rest of my life and will fight against any threat no matter how inconsequential. We have a lot of threats that are very consequential right now!

One of the last amazing things Joe Biden did on his way out the door was cancel my student loans. I have struggled with them for decades and expected to die with that debt. That’s one of the best things that has ever happened to me.
