I used to have several iOS apps in the App Store back in the Objective C days and now I’m looking to dive back into the space with swift and SwiftUI. I also like coffee, wish I had time for games and I appreciate a good desk setup
While everyone is out I’m home doing the fun stuff (looking back at 2024 for tax purposes)
I worked from home 226 days in 2024 which is easily over 500 hours saved by not commuting
To help put that into context, given a 40 hour work week that’s roughly 3 months working full time… that’s insane…

Using the API from my test instance in work to practice building apps
Pro: I’m familiar with the data and how it can be used and can demonstrate to others some new ideas
Con: it contains real data (people’s emails, device serial numbers, etc.) so I can’t really talk about it or share screenshots

It’s got some hacked together API calls that I managed to force together at the start, and the UI is terrible but I’m looking forward to rebuilding it with some proper structure when I know more

Hadn’t been able to load any apps onto my phone from Xcode for days. Updated the phone, restarted it, restarted developer mode… Turned out I just needed to update the MacBook to 15.2
