I was asked to write a guest post for the technically dev blog about quantum computing.

Besides being a lot of fun, it was also a great lesson in getting over imposter syndrome.

I think some general things I would love to see more of are:

- Eng: I/O optimization and async programming and the impact on performance
- Arch: generally chattiness in micro-services — when is chat better than monolith and vice versa
