My first "real" live music shoot was when I snuck my Nikon D70 in to see The Sounds at Webster Hall in 2011. The full .NEF file is only about 3000x2000px! These photos gave me the bug. #musicphotography #photography

I wrote something very similar in my morning pages today after revisiting the earliest work in my archives. DO cull but NEVER permanently delete your old work!!
Every photograph is a memento of light that will never be quite the same, of fleeting moments and emotions. Of a piece of ourselves that will never live again but also never die.
