J-J-Jesus, died for us, oh Jesus died for us and it's cool and swell, don't go against him or you'll burn in hell

Disastrous for Welsh Labour, who did not take steps to nationalise port Talbot steel works that, UK Labour is going to nationalise Scunthorpe. If this is is Wales and Westminster working together then they are out of step.

Assassin's Creed Shadows is great but it feels direction less? Here's 10 hours of solid narrative now here's a list of people to kill and that's it

Hate to be THAT guy but Civ 7 works for me because it's been simplified. My in to Civ was revolution on the consoles and while I adore 3,4,5 and 6 it gets to a point where it's too much. 7 feels nicer

Saw the brutalist today.

It has all the elements to be a GOAT film experience but the story is boring. It's aesthetic and the performances are peak though.

Why did none of the rats in Nosferatu get an oscar nomination?

It's weird how we always talk about the idea that "if you die in the game, you die in real life," but nobody has ever stopped to ask what happens if you die in real life.

The Robbie Williams film didn't work for me because, even as a chimp, the main character is a massive wanker

Seeing the roll back on WFH in the UK is sad..since working from home full-time I've been able to see alot more of my family and career wise I've been able to move positions three times in the last two years. It's not for everyone, sure. But to get rid of it almost is short sighted

Nosferatu proves that the best vampire media storyline is always "what if, we cityfolk, sold the shittiest house in the city to Dracula?"

Saw alot more films in 2024 than I've seen in most years. Here were my favourites:

1. Furiosa
It's just more Mad Max, amazing film. Highlight: Dementus

2. The Substance
Great satire of the entertainment industry. A bit over the top but great overall

Had feared this labour government would be one that does nothing, but it's so much worse, they do bad things then act all high and mighty about it. Inability to tackle the big problems facing the country and arrogance about it is not a good mix.

Labour spending years and years campaigning for WASPI compensation only to say no as soon as they are in government is the most Starmer thing that could have happened lmao
