I also want to do something about the mix sounding kind of stuck together, perhaps because too much sound is concentrated in the mids.

Raising the side highs on the equalizer improves the sound pressure a little, but the mid highs become too loud, so would it be better to lower the mid highs a little in this case as well...?

I was using REAPER to create the FASTEST part of SPEEDCORE, and before I know it, the BPM exceeded 100k, and I was horrified lol.
