I wanted terror, I got a space dragon. Alien Earth finale kinda defanged the Xenomorph for me. They aren’t scary anymore thanks I guess?

Watched Weapons last night, I actually started it a few days ago but it was 3am and I wasn’t ready for the first jump scare (I had just finished watching episode 5 of Alien Earth) turned it off and said to myself ‘nope, I’m not doing this right now’

11 years ago the Destiny servers went live for the first time, I’ve had so much fun playing that game over the years. In fact, my cover art is Destiny related, which probably tells you how much it means to me. It’s given me memories, friendships, and countless hours of adventure. Eyes up, Guardian

I watched Alien Earth last night, I already have an unhealthy fear of the Xenomorph thanks to my dad making me record Aliens for him when I was really young. Not a good idea to press play on the second episode at 4am, this new Xeno is extremely scary

Days like today are my favourite…cool, overcast, and on the edge of rain. It’s the kind of weather that makes you slow down, brew a good cup of tea, and get lost in a book. Feels like the world gives you permission to just be still for a while

Bear in mind my Dad passed in 1996 nearly 30 years later and the grief is still there. I’ve done my best to think of it not as something to “get over,” but something I’ve learned to carry. His absence has shaped so much of who I am, and yet his presence still lives on in the the values he passed on

What I hate about grief is that it can hit you out of nowhere, I was talking to a friend and mentioned my Dad and immediately felt a lump in my throat

Predator Badlands looks amazing as does Alien:Earth although the Xenomorphs still to this day give me the heebie jeebies

Inspiration can strike from anywhere, and sometimes following a trend can lead to something truly original. It’s all part of the same creative ecosystem, and there’s room for all of us to express ourselves in our own way

I wonder all the time if I made the mistake of not following musical trends, whether it's Amapiano or even edits I feel a little bit like I've been left behind. However, doing what you want and how you want is such a wonderful feeling because you’re creating from a place that’s true to yourself
