If it’s just forever off the table now, I do hope at least that Mementos might still be added to raids, including the older ones. I was really looking forward to the possibility of a Deep Stone Crypt-themed Memento.

@dmg04.bsky.social I’m still not fully expecting it to happen, but I really hope the team re-incorporate crafting in raids going forward; a slow and steady grind for a reward I know is inevitable is much more motivating than relying on random drops I know I will never get exactly with my bad luck.

i love DT, honestly, but it really does kind of sting that like. the expansion whose setting is based on MY culture & heritage kind of just. got shafted right out the gate, and is the subject of stupid culture war discourse online from transphobes, thinly veiled or otherwise.

The way people talk about their disdain for crafting just kinda makes me sad, because I always saw it as a godsend for people like me with eternally awful RNG luck and wanting to make their weapon exactly how it best fit their playstyle, the meta be damned.

The desire to truly want to discuss with someone at Bungie why I think raid weapon crafting could coexist alongside the new weapon tier system vs. not wanting public attention in the the places where feedback would be seen best (i.e. the forums, Reddit, Twitter, etc.).

@dmg04.bsky.social It's likely futile at this point, but I can really only hope and ask for crafting (raid weapons) to not be left behind in the dust. My full thoughts can't fit into just one post, but it does genuinely dampen most of my excitement seeing that the TDP weapons are not craftable. 😔

We're still in pretty dire straits as we're continuing to struggle in finding employment, so any little bit of assistance to help us a little longer until then is greatly appreciated.

This is a series that means so much to me because it's the only reason I even have an online presence and how I met all of my friends. Even if I'll be the last one left, there's still more than enough good about Destiny that I want to share with anyone that wants to dive in.

The series has had rough points that would let people down, me included with how vaulting has rendered the story incomplete, but despite all that, I feel like not enough attention is given to all of the good things the games HAVE done right and what those can mean to people.

Going into The Edge of Fate will be weird. Between the past several years of friends leaving Destiny or being discouraged from expressing my love for it because of other friends' vocal dissatisfaction, it's been hard to keep up the same decade-long passion I've had for the game.

Just realized it's been like over half a year since I last posted anything on any social media, and not even because I've been distancing myself from it, but because we're still struggling and not having any luck with job searching.

So more or less the usual, you know how it is.

It's very funny with Ryu's current hairstyle, because between his bangs and his eye patch, a decent number of cutscene angles ensure that you will NOT perceive either of his eyes.
