Diamond continues to release reorder charts, and they've been a journey through the changes at the firm. Its top reordered comic book from last week was ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN #18 (which is among Diamond’s last Marvel releases).

During the time Diamond was the sole distributor for the comics industry — April 1996 to March 2020 — Comichron calculates that it shipped comics and graphic novels worth $10 billion at cover price to North American comics shops. That includes more than 2 billion comic books.

Diamond Comic Distributors has filed for Chapter 11 protection. Diamond grew rapidly through the late 1980s to become the comic shop distributor; the sole survivor of the 1995-96 Distributor Wars, it lost most of its exclusive clients starting with DC early in the pandemic. /1
