To add to this: thinking that reading "clean" and "unproblematic" literature makes you a moral human being is also making you all insufferable and cruel. Your goodness as a person should be measured on how you treat *real* people, not only fictional characters. How that isn't clicking is beyond me.

People are way angrier about Kendrick NOW because it took them until Thursday to figure out that there *may have been* more to the show than just some rapper they couldn’t understand who made them uncomfortable while there wasn’t a single white person in sight.
