I don’t think that handball is a red, don’t want to see sendings off in the halfway line when all sorts can happen between there and goal but the way VAR explained that decision to the referee is totally incompetent on their first meaningful decision of the season. Does not bode well! #lfc #ynwa

Some are looking at our transfers in a very simplistic way. Club finances can’t be understood through the lens of transfer fees alone, there are many contract and business variables. it’s not FIFA, costs are complex, it’s not as simple as this fee for player x will mean we can buy player y. #lfc

I’ve been glued to every tribute to Diogo Jota. Still can’t process it. I realised how much we connect with players, it’s beyond the football. I’m numb to footy right now. I’ll care again, because it’s a big part of me, but for now, just heartbreak for his friends, family and team mates. #lfc #ynwa
