I deleted Facebook. I can’t be a perfect purist, but I want to disassociate myself from disinformation and anyone who cozies up to dictators or poser dictators. Maybe Bluesky will do better? Let’s hope.

Polite religion necessarily leads to complicity with the World. Living in Christ requires compassion, mercy and forgiveness - yes - but also righteous prophetic justice. Will institutional Christianity stand up to injustice this time? History says no. What shall we say then?
