Discovered this touching handwritten note on the inner sleeve of this copy of @waxtraxchicago's ANIMAL LIBERATION compilation from 1987. Almost 40 years later, the legacy of this influential release lives on. 🖤

CSO is sad to report that Remy's mom followed his dad into the great beyond this past Wednesday, only 54 days after we said goodbye to the latter. Aug would have been their 51st wedding anniversary.
To mark her passing & recover from our travels, we will be closed today, Sunday, Sept. 21st.

CSO is sad to report that Remy's mom followed his dad into the great beyond this past Wednesday, only 54 days after we said goodbye to the latter. Aug would have been their 51st wedding anniversary.

Remy's father passed suddenly last week and we have been tending to his estate & Remy's mom since then. Pls call the shop (207-292-5111) during regular hrs to make sure we're open before visiting. Remy's folks instilled a love of music & vinyl in him from a young age. His dad will be forever missed.
