Penn State is 9-9-1 all time against Notre Dame. They last played in 2007 when PSU won 31-10. Penn State is 1-1 against Georgia with the last time they played being a 24-17 loss in the TaxSlayer Bowl in the 2015-2016 season. Either way a tie will be broken no matter who PSU plays

Credit to James Franklin and company for realizing CB was a need for PSU in the offseason. After opt outs from Kalen King and Johnny Dixon against Ole Miss, PSU struggled in the secondary. Penn State secured transfers from Jalen Kimber and AJ Harris that made PSU legit again in the secondary
