Long shot: can anyone think of composers/works that explore the sound of slowly sliding from chord to chord? Eg voices, trombone, strings, electronics?

I've found this 1996 track from Maria João stuck in my head last couple of days. Featuring Ralph Towner, Manu Katche, and a fantastic solo by Mario Langinha. Worth the 6 and a half minutes.

For the last half hour, I've been amusing myself by drawing eyes on images of the Xenomorph from Alien.

Pretty much every time I watch one of the videos by YouTube channel MakeWeirdMusic, i end up hearing something i like and downloading it on Bandcamp. Downloaded 4 albums last week, and think I'm likely to download this new album by Tonnen Von Hall now. #tonnenvonhall #newmusic

Wasn't sure if composer Tom Johnson's (self-) publishing house would still be accepting orders, following his recent passing. But a nice fellow there sent this on to me. Been thinking a lot about permutations in melodic writing recently, so looking forward to reading this.
