Washington is broken and the system is rigged – and Texas families are paying the price.

Today I’m announcing I’m running for the U.S. Senate because Texans deserve someone who will fight for them.

Hard work should get you ahead, not leave you further behind. But when rent, grocery prices, and bills rise faster than paychecks, that’s exactly what happens.

Working Texans deserve an economy that works as hard as they do.
January 29, 2026 at 7:37 PM
Texans are working harder than ever, but home ownership keeps slipping further away.

That’s not an accident. It’s the result of policies that favor corporations over working families.

Corruption has a price tag, and Texans are the ones paying for it. It shows up at the grocery store and in your everyday bills. And the system always seems to work for the wealthy while working families get left behind.
January 28, 2026 at 10:15 PM
Texans deserve leaders who will fight against corruption — not fuel it. Too much damage has already been done to our families, our kids, and our future.

I will fight to hold our government accountable and protect our democracy.

Here’s exactly how: colinallred.com/wp-content/u...

Congress is supposed to work for the people — not play the stock market with insider knowledge. I never traded a single stock during my time in Congress because when you’re elected to represent your community, that should be your only focus.

Ban congressional stock trading. It’s that simple.
January 26, 2026 at 6:29 PM
When members of Congress trade stocks, the system is rigged.
They have access to information that everyday Americans will never see — then use it to pad their portfolios.
That’s not public service. That’s corruption, and it needs to end.
January 21, 2026 at 6:47 PM
I never traded a single stock. I never took corporate PAC money. My decisions in Congress were made for Texans — not special interests.

Honoring Dr. King means more than quoting his words — it means finishing the work. He fought for a democracy where every voice counts, and that fight isn’t over. Protecting voting rights, fighting for fair representation, and making sure no community is silenced is how we carry his legacy forward.

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” Dr. King’s words ring true in Texas today as they did then.

Honoring his legacy means showing up for our neighbors, standing up for what’s right, and doing the work to keep pushing forward. #MLKDay2026

Working hard should be enough.

That’s why I’m meeting Texans where they are — working shifts alongside them and listening. For too many families in TX-33, costs keep rising while paychecks don’t. I’m running to lower costs, raise wages, and make the economy work for the people who actually run it.
January 16, 2026 at 9:39 PM
I grew up watching my mom work hard and still have to make difficult choices just to get by. Too many Texas families are living that same reality. That’s why I’m in this fight — to lower costs and fight for working people.

Rising premiums are forcing families off their healthcare plans. That means parents skipping doctor visits, seniors rationing medications, and working families one emergency away from bankruptcy. We should be making healthcare more affordable, not less accessible.

Government should work for the people — not the highest bidder.

When megadonors pour millions into Trump’s super PACs to buy influence, working Texans pay the price.

Working families deserve leaders who will stand up against corruption and fight for them.

Over 4 million Texans are going to see their healthcare premiums skyrocket, and Washington still has no deal to stop it.

This shouldn’t be complicated: extend the subsidies, protect coverage, and make healthcare more affordable, not less.

Three years ago, a veteran reached out to my office for help accessing his VA records. We got to work and helped him secure an 80% disability rating. That’s what public service means — showing up for our community and getting the job done.

A North Texas father was shot inside a Dallas ICE facility last September, and his family is still reeling from the trauma. Trump has empowered ICE to terrorize our communities and tear families apart with zero accountability — this has to stop.

ICE is terrorizing our communities — then and now. Families are afraid to go to work, to step out to buy groceries, to seek medical care. We must stand with our neighbors and speak out against these injustices.

4 million Texans — including thousands in TX-33 — depend on the ACA. They’re facing steep premium increases they can’t afford, and the House just voted with bipartisan support to fix it. The Senate must act now. This shouldn’t be political. It should be about helping families.

Enough is enough. ICE operates with zero accountability while communities pay the price. Real public safety requires transparency, not unchecked power. This chaos was encouraged by Donald Trump, and it's time for us to demand real reform.

I’m grateful for the support we’re seeing across TX-33. This poll reflects the conversations I’m having every day — folks want leaders who show up, listen, and fight for working families. I don’t take that trust lightly, and I’ll keep doing the work to deliver for our community.
January 7, 2026 at 5:06 PM
Five years later, the truth hasn’t changed: Our democracy survives only when leaders have the courage to defend it. I’ve seen what happens when extremism goes unchecked—and I won’t stay silent while Donald Trump continues to attack our democratic system.
January 6, 2026 at 7:04 PM
I texted my wife: “Whatever happens, I love you.”

That’s how serious January 6th was. Donald Trump’s mob stormed the Capitol and tried to overturn an election. This can never happen again, and I’ll never stop fighting to make sure it doesn’t.

As a civil rights attorney, I know due process matters.

When deportations happen so fast that lawyers can’t intervene, the rule of law suffers. Texans believe in fairness — and we should demand it from our government.
