programming bucket list film happening this friday!
THIS FRIDAY! Start your October off right with the inaugural screening of Trauma Bond with Pier Paolo Pasolini's SALÒ, one of the most-cited films in the canon of "messed up movies." While Pasolini's final film is intense, it's also one of the most provocative attacks on fascism in film history.

Long before trans film worked with studios and bigger budgets, creators often shared their work through zines and DIY screenings: in basements, punk houses, and community centers. Films circulated by hand, projected on borrowed walls, and often lived alongside performance art and zine culture.

lanthimos' best imo
Come back home and revisit the film that launched Yorgos Lanthimos to international acclaim -- DOGTOOTH. Presented in a new 4K restoration from the 35mm and sound negatives, DOGTOOTH is a perverse family drama that plays out like the most agonizing family dinner imaginable.

Seattle has a 20-year legacy of showcasing trans stories on screen thanks to @threedollarbillcinema — and we’re upholding this legacy.

Founded by local film workers, artists, and fans, we’re building a space for trans-made and trans-centered film that’s vibrant, political, weird, tender, and ours.

I am still formally unemployed and very much looking btw
Coming up on a full year of unemployment, so just a reminder that I’m still available for any part- or full-time film work.

I’ve done 40+ disc releases, programmed hundreds of screenings, made a found footage feature that played a few dozen fests, worked in distribution…
