Watching the RC coverage, the comment about needing to get the real card out when you play a checklist card reminded me of a story I heard at an SCG in Innistrad Standard: Someone played a turn 1 Delver checklist card, got up, bought a delver, and sat back down.

I decided to try to get into standard last year when these promos were announced. I showed up to my FNM where I was the only person there for standard. The store owner played 2 games with me and handed me a disdainful stroke promo.
They cancelled standard next week then both of my decks got banned

The pro tour compilation video made me so upset because it was my dream as a kid to play on the pro tour. Now I dgaf because the path stinks and the formats you need to play are stinkier. I miss biweekly GP/SCG coverage too
