My next game is Atomfall! I’m 5 hours in and it’s such a blast. The customizable difficulty settings make this very accessible for everyone. I have the combat tuned down but the exploration set to Hard as not knowing where anything will take you makes it fun. Its also GORGEOUS!

Man what a game. 66 hours later, my journey to protect Thedas comes to an end. While not a perfect RPG, it was damn fun and so enthralling. If you haven’t already, give it a shot.

For the State of Play today, I’m expecting 20-25 minutes of smaller devs and AA games, then 1 3rd party exclusive, 1 Xbox game, and 1 first party reveal/deep dive.
Which games/devs for the latter 3? No clue, but probably Indiana Jones, Lost Soul Aside, and Ghost of Yotei.

Wouldn’t you know it, holding block and using the staff solved all of my damn problems.
Spent an hour with Ninja Gaiden 2 Black earlier and absolutely got my ass kicked by the first boss.
Was absolutely my fault as I only used the sword and didn’t experiment with the staff or combos at all. Will retry tomorrow after some research.

Metaphor people… what archetype did you have Strohl as? Or which ones did you frequent for him? I’ve had him stationary as Brawler for a while but his utility there is slowing down (Brielhaven). My MC rotates between Magic Seeker/Cleric/Mage, Hulkenburg is Magic Knight, and Heismay is Assassin.
