Some of the discussion of photography I see is so.... pretentious?
People all arguing about how "this clearly doesn't work because [this technicality] and [this thing from an ancient textbook] isn't quite right"

By the time I finish something in Figma half my elements are nested like 16 groups deep for absolutely no reason, I think I gotta fix my workflow 😅

My favourite part of streaming services is when you watch an episode that’s supposed to leave you pondering, but then within 0.2s of going back to the menu you get blasted with as many spoilers as possible.

I don’t know if it’s a glitch or what, but every time I open Instagram it’s the same few posts at the top of my feed, even though I hid them weeks ago to try to stop it.

AI itself isn’t the problem.
The problem is the stuffing of AI into every facet of our lives, the indiscriminate wielding of it against messy human problems, the band-aiding over inherent and sometimes unsolvable complexity - and all of this with a distinct lack of interrogation into consequences.

I still think that complaining about "AI" is kind of the same as complaining about "technology".
There are no shortage of extremely valid critiques, but we are grouping a looooooot of things under one umbrella here.

I think business communications and education are 2 places where AI highlights broader 'problems'.
If one person uses AI to make something verbose, and another to distill it... we can cut the formalities.
Likewise, AI in school shows how much we value results rather than actual learning outcomes.
