For the past 20 years, Ruben Torres Maldonado has been a painter in Chicago. Ruben's been working weekends to support his family, including his 16-year-old daughter, Ofelia  — a Lake View High School student fighting Stage 4 cancer. That is until ICE detained him this weekend at a Home Depot.

Nonsensical policy targets the very people we want voting in elections: new U.S. citizens • New Jersey Monitor
We should be falling over ourselves getting new U.S. citizens to vote, not punishing groups that make it easy for them to do so.

Something stinks.

Trump’s biggest immigrant concentration camp, 5,000 beds at Fort Bliss, is going to be built by a company registered to a single-family house in Henrico.

They just scored a $1.2 billion Army contract. Their biggest contract before this was only $16 million.

You do the math.

This is a human rights violation.

Multiple detainees described a disturbing incident where dozens of men were forced to eat food they had been denied all day while shackled.

“We had to bend over and eat off the chairs with our mouths, like dogs,” — from a new Human Rights Watch report.
