Switched from WisprFlow (subscription) to VoiceInk/SuperWhisper (pay once) tonight. VoiceInk's offline transcription on my Mac is eye-blink fast. It doesn't have an iPhone app, so I use SuperWhisper there instead. Amazing how offline transcription is faster, cheaper, and just as accurate.

If I'm forced to go grab a code from my email inbox when logging in to manage a subscription, my next move is to cancel that subscription. Canceled Good Store last month, Reel this month. One-time passcode login systems are scum.

Had my 36K mile service done and the tank bag didn't fit when I got home. Noticed the top two screws on the magnetic ring had been backed out and not refastened. A wrong screw was put back into the lower right position. Why was it removed in the first place? I'm not impressed. #motorcycle

Civ 7 is visually entertaining, but the gameplay feels like watching a movie where 60 minutes in I still don't understand why I should care about the story. I'm trying to like the game, but I just don't feel engaged. Not sure what they can do to fix it. Building games must be tough work.

Creators on YouTube are sure freaking out about Sora. Sure, there's a ton of slop on Sora, but there's also some brilliant videos. I think creators are nervous that complex video production has now been made available to the masses and they're scared of losing control of that space.

Sora appears to have a 100 drafts per 24 hours rate limit. I’m addicted. Wish I could pay for more.

In the past, being able to travel was seen as a luxury for the rich. With the rise of delivery services, not having to travel anywhere is the new sign of wealth and luxury. It's both disgusting and extremely appealing.
