If you voted for Trump:
- You are a racist
- You are a misogynist
- You are an American traitor
- You are anti everything this country supposedly stands for
- You support Nazis

Nothing like waking up to see women's rights being stripped, Nazi salutes being performed to crowd adulation, terrorists being pardoned, and our nation getting yanked out of the WHO (for starters). Its really hard to feel anything other than that I'm seeing the end of my country.

Make the marketing data they collect about you useless. Search for stuff you'd never buy, view items on Amazon you don't want. Keep the algorithm confused and poison all their data sets. Make it useless

This month, I am doing a slightly modified Advent of Running challenge. I'll be running at least a 5k every day until New Years (advent technically ends on Christmas). I missed one day last week before I decided to do this challenge, so that doesn't really count.

Hey big retailers: I get it, cyber Monday ends today and I'll never ever get this deal again....except after Christmas when you lower your inflated prices on things I don't want anyway. Still not spending a dime! Being under the poverty line sucks.

I feel like this time of year is the best time to find out all of the email sales lists you are on because companies do nothing but incessantly email you about a sale going on that they told you about an hour earlier. Lenovo has sent me 40 emails in the last 3 days. Its ridiculous.

Good thanksgiving so far: Pizza Rolls, cake tops, beer, and cookies. Chicken and Broccoli casserole tonight, and football all day. Non-traditional and I love it

One of these holidays I will get to treat it like it's not occurring. My life used to be simple. I went to work (on the holiday) and went home. Now it's three weeks of planning for other people to come eat food I never make for myself. Life is weird.

I saw an interesting post on LinkedIn about knowledge gatekeeping and it made me think about a policy my workplace recently implemented. This policy basically requires engineers to document their procedures for how they do certain things and place it into the company documentation repository.

Looking forward to @bsky.app getting real 2FA enabled. Email codes are great and all, but not as secure as good as OTP or hardware keys.

Had a client get hit by ransomware the other day. I was a part of the initial response (killing any desk sessions, pulling devices offline, etc). I was not part of the initial response call with the client, cyber insurance/response people, and my clients affiliates. I was later told that while most
