I really love that humans looked at a button that had three identical horizontal lines and said, "That is a hamburger, and we'll call it the 'hamburger menu." And what I love even more is that when you tell someone to click the hamburger menu, they immediately know what you're talking about.

How to fold a fitted sheet:
1. Drape the sheet over your hands, with each hand in a corner.
2. Bring your hands together. Tuck one pocket inside of the other.
3. Ball up the rest of the sheet, and shove the tangled mess into the drawer, the way you were always going to.
4. Stop lying to yourself.

The roller skating rink in my town is exactly like the ones I went to in the 80's, and it's exactly like the ones that still exist elsewhere. Theory: There is just one skating rink, which exists in multiple times and places at once.

I wish I was still writing game news, just so I could talk about the wild stuff happening with Walkabout Minigolf. It was already punching above its weight with hidden balls and foxhunts for new putters, but they quietly added an underground bunker with a secret door puzzle and elfin leafblowers.

I'm seeing more examples of federal funding restored and people returning to their work, which is great. But we really can't underestimate the cost of the disruption for everyone involved. Whatever money is actually saved is incredibly offset by the wasted effort of it all.

It seems impossible for anyone to film a Disney resort room tour without overusing the word "do," as in "you *do* have USB ports in the nightstand."
I had to know the name of this grammatical hiccup, and it's called an "emphatic auxiliary verb."

Andor season 2 is supposed to lead directly into Rogue One, which leads directly into A New Hope. So once it's out, you could conceivably do a ~22-hour marathon tracing the live-action rebellion from start to finish.
