This week at Cork City Council, I called for Housing First to be adopted as a core strategy in Cork City. We need to put recovery, stability, and compassion at the heart of our housing policy and help the most vulnerable move from homelessness and addiction toward stability and recovery.

I spoke at Cork City Council calling for LUAS Cork to be recognised as a top national priority in the new National Development Plan (2026–2035). Cork has shown real leadership in planning for a sustainable, liveable city. Now we need the same commitment from national government!

What a great day work at the Orchard in Mahon yesterday, despite the unfriendly weather conditions. I was overwhelmed to join the Mahon Tidy Towns for the clean-up in memory of Brendan Raleigh. Thank you to PM Group and Cork City Council for their wonderful support.
