ICE wrote a memo to get around warrantless entries into homes, and they knew it was so illegal they kept it secret until a whistleblower blew the scheme open.

Americans are realizing that unfettered federal power to detain and arrest is a very dangerous thing. I learned that lesson as a child when they put us into internment camps just for looking like the enemy. Don’t go further down this road.

We have already seen a case where a woman (Chicana) who was born in the US was held for a long while even after her birth certificate from an American hospital was presented. They simply insisted that the birth certificate wasn’t real.

These boundary shifts are intentional, and they have precedent.

I tend not to listen to my neighbor because he's drunk 99% of the time, but he works for ICE and he's confident that the plan is to systematically eradicate minority and opposition groups.
