Very excited to pick up our first campervan! This should make Scottish climbing trips a lot more pleasant. No more cooking in a wet tent porch or hiding from the midges in the car.

‘Climate overshoot’ scenarios, where temperatures temporarily exceed 1.5°C before descending again using carbon dioxide removal (CDR), could have irreversible consequences 🌡️🌍

These scenarios have been analysed in a study co-authored by Dr Chris Smith 👇

Using my day off to play in the snow on Ingleborough. Arduous walking conditions, spindrift blizzards and 10 miles of postholing - happy Friday!

Half a sleeve away from a cosy new winter dress. It's been a labour of love (highlights include two loooong rows of bobbles, binding off the bottom hem 3 times to get it right and reknitting an entire sleeve because the fit was wrong) but it's so close to being finished now!

Great fun #orienteering around Wrose. Love the night score events - they're such a good way to forget you're actually going for a run! Instead of making excuses to finish early, I end up calculating if I've got time to nab that one last control before the time is up.
