Sarah McBride very publicly, very prominently rolled over and gave in because she agrees with those politics and she knows that the bathroom ban that specifically targets her isn't actually going to be enforced on her at all. It's a class thing. They never are.
bathroom bills are a direct attack on our participation in society, motivated especially by transmisogyny. they are not "distractions" or secondary to some greater issue. it is all part of conservative gender politics. it is coercion. it is correction
