Last #painting made (for now)! A #rainbow smushed painting on 12x12 canvas. Was not patient w/ this 1... Painted the background black, but left 1 too thick. It was a bit tacky & tape didn't stick very well. But, was able to clean up the edges.

New #painting! Bought wide FrogTape to create wide borders. Worked perfectly!Learned from previous experience to paint the entire canvas 1st.

Painted on 12x12 w/ a #StrangerThings inspired palette. Didn't make the blobs big enough; parts of the edge aren't straight. But, think it goes w/ the theme.

Sad to say Holiday Extravaganza didn't go as hoped... It was my 7th vend & wasn't better than any other. Decent foot traffic/interest; not even close to enough sales. Spent 100s of dollars. I'm out of money/ time.

Got out a 10" by 20" canvas and chose a color palette of turquoise, aqua, dark green, and gold. Started painting stripes, alternating the colors, with gold in between each stripe. Progress on painting the stripes, following the pattern I set at the beginning. The completed painting. It just doesn't feel like my original version I painted a while ago.

The last few days, I've been scrambling to finish the only #DIY parts of my #cosplay for #PlanetAnime Sat. Omg... Really did put this off til the #lastminute!

NOT a cosplayer, but had an idea I just had to do. Inspired by #Ironmouse decora model & #Cinamoroll. Full look after the con!

Making the tail from poofy, off-white yarn. I adapted a technique for making bracelets. I made the heart tip for the tail by carving floral foam, hot gluing thin cardboard to cover the foam, then covering up the whole thing in spackle. I carved the horns from the same floral foam. At first, I started carving them too tall. Once I got them the right height, I realized I made one of them too skinny. So, I had to recreate one of them. The top image shows the complete tail. The bottom image shows the heart and horns with spackle drying on them.
