We love to see courts cracking down on AI's illegal use of content without copyright or compensation.

There are ways to access content legally and fairly. Big AI just needs to buy in.

This is exactly right. The world is on the brink of platform authoritarianism, and tech oligarchs are working overtime to capture this administration as well as the opposition.

But it's not too late for Americans to take back our democracy from Silicon Valley.
Trump 2.0 has unleashed Silicon Valley’s efficiency fetishism on the U.S. government, with the end goal of transforming the country into a kind of corporation, steered by a kind of CEO, powered by private firms not beholden to the messiness of democracy.
