One movie cliché I don't mind is when a character goes to a gun dealer and the supplier 'shows off the merchandise' one by one giving little quips about each (always bigger than the last) until finally picking the most badass one there is.

Aw :/ I tried connected to good 'ol towel dot blinkenlights dot nl for the old school Ascii Star Wars and it's not working. I remember looking that up in the 90s and thinking it was the coolest thing ever. What a project!

I have some real, actual progress on my #homelab. My devices are physically in place, network storage attached. #Portainer and #Docker up and running. My #Proxmox media server is adding my music and my #VPS is online.

After several weeks being distracted by Dune: Awakening, i am happy to report that I am back on my project setting up a HomeLab, self-hosting all my own app services, and (hopefully) self-hosting my social media fesiverse instances. #privacy

Out of all the food delivery service apps, Fantuan is the only one who isn’t blatantly trying to charge you up the wazoo. Their UI is chaotic and I can only describe it as like a Las Vegas casino but it gets the job done.

I’ve been ‘upgrading’ Jimtendo Switch 🏴☠️ this week. I’m not paying the Switch 2 prices, I’ve spent enough over the years on Games and peripherals.

How is it possible for anyone to use Discord on the regular? They’re hard to find, and when you do find they have a million rules that get you banned for asking the one question you’re REALLY there to ask. And I’m convinced no one can possibly keep track of more than 2 servers. How do people do it?
