Rubem was reading in Central Park one afternoon, when suddenly everything went dark. He woke up in a hospital bed after a cerebral hemorrhage. A passerby called 911, saving his life. Now in his eighties, Rubem counts on Citymeals to bring healthy meals to his door so he can focus on staying well.
