One teacher told us “apartheid was good for S Africa;” another lectured that FDR “ruined the country” by making Americans “lazy;” yet another wld force us to watch Alan Greenspan lectures and preface them by saying “now that’s a smart Jew” (the teacher ofc was not Jewish)

So anyone else calling stripe get the weirdo response that all the censorship and bans are because of “high refund numbers” like…what? Then they tell me not to trust everything i read online. Which…things being online vs published can still be faulty? I really got the pedantic asshole rep this time.

Deeply annoying when people state an entire country as being stupid. Blanket statements to dehumanize others is kinda shitty. Point out shitty people by their actions not by their nationality. Scattershot insults and generalizations tend to do more harm than to randos than they do your actual target

Hm, weirdly enough its a game that is now one of my all time favorites as an adult. Symphony of the nights spooky marionettes laugh and especially death and his voice legit made me too spooked to continue playing and i swore off the series until dawn of sorrow 😅 (also features freaky ass puppets)

Things are such shit that walking around and seeing generalized platitutes like “find the good in everyone” and “optimism - pass it on” read more like the propoganda it is. Dont think about the stripping of rights and the violence on your neighbors. Just think happy thoughts while everything burns.

Browsing chill food stuff on youtube and being jumpscared when they make “political humor” food. Really feels like the trivialising of politics is in part of why were in this mess. Fucking stupid that people poke fun when things like human rights were at risk. It wasnt a secret then and isnt now
