Some things I found in Sardinia:
— Sardines. Many of them, all delicious.
— Donkeys, in grey and white varietals, roaming free on the former prison island Asinara, now a national park.
— Medieval architecture in the winding streets of Castelsardo.

Roma, il mio cuore! A day cycling the Via Appia Antica showed off ancient catacombs, crumbling monuments and elegant villas. UNESCO tells me it dates back to 312BC, but it might be most famous as a backdrop to many gems of Italian cinema.

Today the Yoorrook Justice Commission’s final report was tabled in the Victorian Parliament. A powerful moment for truth-telling and injustice, drawing on conversations with some 9000 First Peoples, 1500 submissions and 200 witnesses.
