Earlier this year in June, I was denied entry to conduct congressional oversight at the Adelanto ICE facility. Now, a federal court issued an order reaffirming what was already the law – that Congress has a right to oversight in these detention facilities to protect transparency & accountability.

Today, House Republicans betrayed the insitution of Congress in favor of policial points from the President. The power to declare war lies in the hands of Congress, not the President. Republicans failed to act with courage and protect necessary safeguards for military escalation.

Today, I got to see the video of the Sept. 2nd boat strike and in full transparency the Department of Defense should release the entire video to the public.

The Secretary of Defense also needs to make the EXORD available to the House Armed Services Committee as required by law.
