Aldabra's giant tortoises are at least as remarkable as those in the Galapagos. @thetortoiseproject.bsky.social describes how Aldabra's tortoises spread, fertilize, and improve the germination of seeds. The reptiles also create tortoise turf, which is habitat for animals such as tiger beetles.
