It pays to get up early and get out in nature. This little guy is referred to here on the ranch as "Fluffy Pie". He is believed to have traveled to Mexico and back for at least eight years. Can you believe it? This tiny bird weighs just over 3 grams. I have so many images of him.

I took a long drive through Banff and Kootenay National Parks in the Canadian Rockies today. Around every bend, the view took my breath away and I stopped frequently along the way to capture as much of the beauty as possible. This is just one of many.
